I was sent a link to a web site that is wonderful. If you have a chance to look at the resources that are on this link, go for it. I was amazed at the resources that were on it.
Bloom's Taxonomy and "cool tools" http://edorigami.wikispaces.com/
Comics http://www.readwritethink.org/MATERIALS/comic/
You can create comics up to six slides. You need to determine number of slides in advance. We may use this to have students promote their fund-raising endeavor.
This helps with my creativity. There is a fee for this one but I have used it in the past to help with inspiration for student movie making. http://creativity-online.com/adcritic
http://www.xtranormal.com/
This is a site that might have some merit. I used it last year we had 2 characters having a conversation about Space. This gave the students a chance to explain what they knew about space in a fun way. The only drawback is that the kids need to have an email address and sign up for a free account.
